Megasquirt to EEC-IV adapter: How to make your own

This is one product that can work on a lot of different Fords: the Megasquirt to EEC-IV adapter board! This installs in a gutted EEC-IV case and lets you run a cable out of the case to a Megasquirt to let you control your fuel and ignition. You'll need to give the Megasquirt a MAP hose, but it installs without cutting a single wire of the factory harness. You'll just need to dismember an ECU.

The link above gives a setup and installation guide. We've tested it in house on a Mustang and a CVH powered Escort rally racing station wagon (no, seriously), and we've heard from customers who have installed this on all sorts of Fords worldwide. The biggest key to building it is that you will need a pinout for your particular car's ECU.
