Good Air = New Best & Big Smiles!!

Well I woke my a$$ up Saturday at 5:30 am to get to the track for the last weekend of the season. Weather looked good but I was a bit worried with all rain here the last 48 hours or so.

First pass blew the tires off and didn't even pick up my slip.

Second pass a mediocre 12.37
Third pass I improved to a 12.1 and hot lapped a 12.15

I let the car cool off for about 30 mins or so and went back out.

I ripped off a 11.945 @ 117.8, I was totally psyched and figured I'd hot lap it to see if I could back it up with a slightly slower pass. Heck if I actually didnt go faster!!! 11.894 @ 117.4. :thumbsup:

Track was empty and I certainly could have made a bunch more passes, but I packed it up and decided to call it a good day on a high note!!

Gotta love the mine shaft air!!!

Damn... 117 almost 118. Go back and get an 11.60 pass when you get the time.

IDK - with a race weight of 3975lbs that's a stretch IMO for 11.6

Nice times. You run a Vortech, right? What psi and what is your elevation?

yes Vortech V2-SQ @ 10.2 psi @ 6300, Eleveation is around 80-100ft @ that track

DAs were in the -1500 area that morning

I wish our track was still open, and more importatnly I had not taken my car apart....

Nice Passes! Hopefully I can get similar times enxt season at my altitude....

Car made 435 RWHP on a Mustang Dyno in good air. In not so good air it made 415 on the same dyno
