no i was going through a local forum here and one of the track techs informed us the site is being slow right now ill try to find it in a bit.

its in the 2009 book. i am still trying to find it but from what i have herd it passed it was 7.49 now its 9.99 i thought it was 9.90 but its 9.99

I have my brother checking into it in his rule book. If you happen to find it let me know the page number. I'd like to find out before we take the Maverick to the track and they dont let us run because of it.

I don't find anything like that in the 2009 NHRA Rules Amendments.

At the track last month they announced it. Thought is safer for the driver/car as your less likely to loose control due to oil/etc----and what the track officials like--less down time and less clean up of oil spills. I think everyone would like that--but that engine diaper does look like a major PITA.

its for a reason... safety... reason why i run at a track because of the rules to keep me safe and the other drivers.
