i honestly think and have always seen better results with a quick spin of street tires for example at the first sign of smoke i let out lets me know theres new flat tread to run on also water box should not be needed for street tire burn out the wetness that follows is enough to spin them with ease

also i would stick with 17s and nitto drag radials are excellent tires for daily driving and track use they lasted me 9months of 60miles a day trips plus 3 times a month trip to drag strip great tire if u plan on leaving them on for daily driving

damn 9 months 60 miles a day with DR's?! that's way better than I expected. I'll be driving closer to 30 a day. Well im gettin drag radials then lol, but one other thing i wana know sorta...would it be good to put a 315/35/18 on an 18x10 saleen? or shud i just got 285? I definately want 18x9 and 18x10 saleens tho...just not sure what size to run in the back.
