Slicks Question

Stupid question: If I lower my suspension 2'' will slicks fit? Also if it's lowered will I have to adjust my control arms? (they are non adjustable...)

well then it really is impossible to answer your question. A 29" will not fit but a 26x10.5 likely will

Sorry, yea if you lower it your pinion will be off (most likely) you should get adjustable LCAs and relocation brackets at a minimum IMHO

We dont need relocation brackets... but Adjustable weight jackers would be ideal with a drag spring...

my car will fit a 28x11.5 with just the quad shock moved...

but i ran 26x10.5 all season...

The S197 plateform has a 3 link style suspension... we have a modified 4 link. They do make a lower and upper control arm relocation kit... but its really not needed til sub 1.30 second 60 foots... IMO

1.20 are not uncommon on real high horsepower cars with STOCK style suspension. The key to getting a suspension dialed in is getting the instant center in line with the Center of gravity.

To do this a typical weight jacker style lower control arm will take care of it on a coil spring rear end. A coil over rear end requires just a adjustable LCA(rod) and then the right height is adjusted with the coil over and not the Weight Jacker LCA.

baselinesuspension.com has really good info on their site. Might be worth checking it out.
