yellow belly 2/15/2009

yesterday i went to watch only but when we got there it just had opened up and no cars were running so i decided to run mine to see what it would do w/ old bald street tires. (i have m/t drag radials but left them at home)
vs a stock lightning, i use that liquid stuff they used and ran a 8.9 with a 2.0 60' the lightning ran a 9.1
next run vs camaro ss, used the same stuff and ran the same time w/ the same 60' camaro spun and ran a 9.0

so, at the shittiest track (prep wise) in dallas i ran a 8.9 w/ 60' on bald tires (i attached pic of tire) that's why i wasnt satisfied w/ my run at ennis earlier in the week.
i ran a 13.9 w/ a 2.1 60' on drag radials! didnt stage right and launch only on 1k rpms, at yellow belly launch on 1500rpms.

will download video later on.

What size tires are you running?By the looks of it some kinda of 35 series tire.It doesn't look like there is very much sidewall on the tire your running which could be adding to the loss in traction.

yeah they are 285/40/17 tires. they are super old that's why i cant get any traction.
i bought some m/t drag radials but need to find another set of wheels to put them on
