Dragstrip woes

Well i was hoping to take papasmurf to the dragstrip this friday, but that looks like its not going to happen seeing how its supposed to rain friday. I have only been able to go to the dragstrip 1 time this season so far because it eather rains the day of the dragstrip or im at work. I leave for deployment in a few weeks so im not sure if ill even get to see what the stang can run on the nitrous

. What a letdown...........

Happens to me all the time... You must have forgotten to do the anti-raindance. I feel ya.

Do you go to Richmond? I know history might not repeat itself but on the April 10th (the first night of the season) there was a 40% chance of rain but it was gorgeous all night out there.

yup i usually go to richmond, however im in PA for the week with the fiance and i was going to run it at the 1/4 mile up here, but its supposed to rain. I have a full bottle in the trunk and everything

That sucks! I hate it when I deployment creeps in on summer fun. Especially when there are new toys to play with. Makes being gone just that much slower.

It happens, I'm headin out on nunber 5 this summer. Funny thing is it's not being called a deployment, it's called an "operation" since we'll only be gone for a short 5 months. Funny how that works out.
