Theres no way any place that built a car would let someone who has NEVER been to the track before drive their 10.XX second car ( unless they knew them first hand )...

I met the driver breifly, but I did talk to Dan Millen and was told the car was an ongoing Project. The kid driving was new to racing and was doing a good Job running it, It was nice to see them get the 10 they wanted though.

Thank you guys for your congrats. I know some of you believe this is a load of B.S....but it's not. I was at Milan Dragway testing out a car for an ongoing project for FORD.

Yes, I am that guy from Florida who was wanting to own a 2003/4 Cobra...but never got one...cause it just didnt seem rational at the time.

I was racing the Dark Blue 2010 Mustang GT at the track...and I DID GET A 10.88!

Kinda hard to believe...but it's true.

I can't say much...but I'll REVEAL EVERYTHING This SUNDAY.

I raced an 8 second car for 3 years that didn't belong to me, doesn't mean I didn't go 8's.

Look, I'm not defending anyone on this, I said what I saw at Milan while we were there racing. If this is the kid that was driving, then congrats on a great run and being the first one in the 10's in a new 2010 Mustang.

I Live in Houston, Texas and raced in Milan this weekend. Last Month I raced in Atco, New Jersey and in March I raced in Bradenton, Florida. Next Month(July 16-19) we will be racing in Joliet, ILL. We follow a Series which travels, nothing Fishy there.

I see your point, but remember, if this is something with Ford Racing, I;m sure they don't want any info out before they release it.

I got a feeling it was a test of the new engine and cobra jet stuff.

I understand. And it's all starting to make a little more sense now, and I'm sure when he comes back with more info next week than the dots will start to connect.

My whole thing was I saw '10 Mustang GT and 10.88@125 with a pic under his screen name and it made it seem as if he owned the car.

That's my bad for assuming!

Like I said, it's cool that he doesn't. A lot of people drive cars on a regular basis that don't belong to them (you even mentioned doing it). It just would have made things a lot more clear/easier to believe if he would have said, "This car belongs to Ford/Livernois/Whoever and is part of a secret project I was able to be a part of." We seem to get a lot of people on this site that are totally full of crap and lie about owning cars or how fast their car is, etc. so I guess I've just gotten a little jaded.

Again, my mistake for assuming.

I believe I misworded my original thread post. I am going to change that right now...so people dont get all confused.

The 2010 Mustang GT you guys saw in the video WAS ME. I did make a 10.88, and yes...i am somewhat of a newbie...but I think I did pretty darn good for a beginner. Thanks for the congrats. I cant believe I actually made a run in the 10's.

Again: THIS CAR IS NOT MINE. I DO NOT OWN IT IN ANY WAY OR FORM.
