I ran a 10.88 this weekend!! :D !

Hey everybody, I was at the Milan Dragway last Friday and Saturday for the All-Ford Competition.

I drove a Mustang Drag Car for a project for FORD.

I ran a 10.88 @ 125.00 mph 1/4 !!! I am soo amazed! One of my dreams was to drive a 10-second Mustang...and now I have accomplished it!

The car ISNT mine...but I was driving it for a friend.

I can't say more about it right now...but I would like to tell you all more about it when I can!

This being such a cool experience...I would like to share it with you all this Sunday.

Stay tuned...but too tuned.

I guess I could be wrong cause if its an 07 GT67 with a 5.4l a 10.88 could be possible even for a drag strip virgin...

I also smell b.s. but didn't want to come out and say it. That's why I complimented him first, but than asked for a mod list.

I'm not saying he is a liar, but I find it strange that someone who has never raced a stick can now cut a 10.8 @125. I could believe a 12-12.5@ 125 if they just bought a really high horsepower car, but this almost too good to believe.

Well under his avi it says 2010 GT "Drag Car" w/ 10.88 @ 125 under it, so I would say thats what he was using... I dont see that being a sub 13 second car for a track newb.

im guessing he was one of the finalest for something ford did and he had to go the ford drag strip and got to drag a ford mustang? idk

That's a possibility. I can go with that. Even if it was an auto with a great setup, it's still hard for me to believe he can get such a great E/T.

Search Dyno Joes posts in the 2005+ section. He has a video of this run in one of his 2 videos for JDM. It's the dark blue 2010 mustang that Joe said is a Ford Racing/Livernois project. The score board lit up 10.88. Here is the link.
