Need Some Advice...Thanks In Advance.

So i know some of you remember my posts of my car at the track and the awful times it ran...well did a lil work since thing as well as fixed a couple major problems with it. that day best 60ft. time i could get was like a 2.57, what are your tips on getting the 60ft down, as well as shift points...my mods are in my Sig. I'll also be spraying a 125 shot. I'm a fairly good driver, however i must say i was used to racing on the street, so its a lil different on the track as i found out.

First, if you haven't dyno'd your car, then do it. The graph will tell you where you need to shift at. Second, make sure your front tires (if stock) is pumped up to 40psi (less rolling resistance). Third, light foot, then apply the heavy foot. Fourth, adjustable shocks. And last practice, practice, practice. If you have a clutch, let the clutch out about halfway or just before it makes the car move, and then when the lights come down, let it out and apply the gas smoothly. Let me know if this helps or if anyone has any better advice. Remember most of all is to have fun with it.

start at 2grand or so and slip the clutch out...rev up as high as u can before the tires start to spin and expermient and find a good launch rpm...

if u bog launch higher...spin, launch lower. ease into the throttle as u let the clutch out feeling if your spinning or bogging and give the car more or less throttle pending if your bogging or spinning

sounds dumb but put some weight in the trunk, it will slow your ET but youll hook up. You wont lose to much of your ET or not anything drastic. I run with a jack in the trunk of my car but i get 2.0-2.10 60ft on street tires.
