Went to Pittsburgh Raceway Park for the first time last night ! Was not impressed with my times !
First time trial run was UGLY !!
R/T: .0217
60 FT: 2.45
1/8: 9.37 @ 79.28
1/4: 14.29 @ 100.00
I spun the whole way threw 1 gear and half the way threw second

Second TT run got even more UGLY !!!!! Heated the hell out of my tires
because of spinning the run before ! Started to stage and one of the track guys came up to me and was telling me to shut it down ! when I did white smoke was pouring out from under the hood I opened the door and antifreeze was running all over the track !!! I thought what the hell happened !! so I popped the hood while they were getting ready to pull me off the track and here I blew the heater hose that comes out of the intake and goes into the heater core !! Dumped all the antifreeze in the car all over the starting line !!! They were not happy about that ! But it was a easy fix I just by passed the heater core !

First elimination round had no idea what to dial in so I put 14.00 . Got lined up against a girl in a camaro that dialed in a 12.86 . I cut a .0423 light and she red lighted but I didnt see that she did so at the 1000 foot mark I was ahead of her by a good bit so I hit the brakes so I didnt break out (but still did) and ran a 13.81 @ only 88.43 mph !!! I was pissed because I didnt see she red lighted and I didnt run the car the whole way threw the 1/4 .

Second round I red lighted spun 3/4 the way threw first and 1/4 of the way threw second and ran a 13.91 @103.45 !!

It was a blast but it just goes to show ya that it takes practice , practice , practice !!! LOL!!!!!

Yea I Had loads of fun was a little worried when I saw the smoke comming from under the hood ! thought I ventilated the block And I wish I would have run it the whole way threw the 1/4 in the first round of eliminations when that girl red lighted ! Because that was the only time the tires hooked up desent !!!

I think I do remember seeing your car !! Because I went to get water at the restroom after I puked all my antifreeze out at the starting line !!!

like I said were there every race day our pit spot is right next to the bathroom where you got the water after the "incedent" I guess we'll call it . usually pizza between 2nd time trial & elimination's not to mention plenty of mustang's (we were a little light this week though only 3).
