First pass in my KB Saleen

Went last night to the local 1/8th mile strip.
Car pulls like a beast off the line.
Im in the left lane. I lined up against a newer 05+ Gt right lane.

Here is the slip

Thanks guys,

I sidestepped the clutch at only 3,500 too. I wanted to drop the hammer at 5,000 , but was so scared I would be picking up rear end teeth

I also granny shifted 3rd gear as my POS hurst is no better than the factory shifter at hitting 3rd gear. I beleive the car has 7.30s in her the way she sits now. We may go back once fall arrives and cooler air comes through.

Thanks guys,

I have tubular k / coilovers up front 70/30 struts. subframes, tubular upper / lower on the rear Maximum Motorsports.

The wheels were 15x3.5 and 15x10 weld draglites with standard bobo tires up front and Mickey Thompson 26x10.0x15s here... Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels

Track was hooking exceptionally well on street tires anyhow. I had a buddy run 1.95 short times in his foxbody on street tires. They were not being shy with the vht.

I also have line lock so I heated them up til the good folks in the grandstands started choking...lol

At the moment no, but if / when this unit bites the dust, I may invest in a 9 inch setup.

Thanks man, I will make sure to video next time and hit you up.

No problem man. Good to have diversity on the forums. I respect the fact you dont like verts. To each his/her own.
