staging automatic
so i was wondering if its safe to like keep it in neutral at 3000rpm and then shift it into drive or will that kill the tranny?

That trans piss you off or something lol. No, it would not be a good idea at all. What you need to do is figure out how high your rpms can go before you get tire spin at the line. Do this in your driveway or at the track. Once you have that, lower your rpms by 200 and you will be golden. My tires break at 1600rpm, so I stage at 1400. Anything else and you will be spending money, either to upgrade your trans or replacing it from abuse.

who told you about that, that way you can bitch slap him for giving you some shitty advice! anyhow, leave it in drive like everyone says and in my auto i'm able to stall to about 1800rpms
