chevy camaro 09 race

Has any one raced the 09 Camaro with an 05+GT, what was the out come and what mods did you have?

Honestly I dont think it would be that hard with some bolt ons and a good driver for a 05+ to whip up on some chevy buttocks.

Friend a mine got a SS with ground effects, took me for a ride, my mustang pulls harder then that boat.

With the 4.10's and DS im ordering next month (RICH) i think i could take him.

Current mods are JLT CAI, 93 Tune, O/r H and FRPP stingers.

add 4.10's and Spyder 1 pc alum or the likes, drivers race.

They Dyno at about 360 to the wheels. and from what ive heard run a 13.5 1/4

If they ran a 12.87 bone stock, then my car is gonna run an 11 because omg that felt so slow.

Usually when you ride passenger you feel it more since ur not in control...but i was dispapointed

Most SS's with a good driver are getting 13 flat. A couple have gone 12.8. Once these guys start with their bolt ons they are making some serious hp. The thing is they may fall apart before they get down the track. With the tranny issues and several other drive train issues they are having the car is just a time bomb. Chevy really messed up on this car as the quality is sub par but no surprise.

There was a bone stock stang that ran 13.3 on mm&ff right, but we know thats not the norm, pro driver, good day etc.

Exactly. A guy just ran 12.32 @ 109.8 with just a catback, tune, and 18'' drag radials. Raceweight was 3835.

He also just got an 11.86 @ 121 timeslip with I think the same mods. :O Go to 2:00 in this video:

Well i doubt ill be running into any pro drivers on the street in a brand new 2010 ss wanting to race.
