Well just put on the 10 way shocks, and adjustable uppers, couldn't get my LCAs off so that will have to wait a day. I set the uppers to be the same length as the stock ones, I left the stock bushings on the diff, though I have a set of poly bushings for everything back there. I am a bit paranoid about busting up my car, as I have read a couple stories about people tearing up things with uppers like mine because they are too stiff. Shocks are set to be as loose as they can, didn't know where a good start was. Where is a good starting point for adjustments, should I start out making the uppers shorter or longer, are the shocks best all the way loose or should I stiffen them up some? I went out on a quick run, tried launching at 4500ish rpms and maybe let out on the clutch too fast, it seemed to be in and out of traction (wheel hop?) I hope maybe the LCAs will help with that. It was a bit cool out, and maybe a little damp from the light misting from an hour or two before, it felt like if I had let some air out and done a burnout or whatever to at least warm the tires up that it might have grabbed. I typically don't launch that high, usually ~2k so I don't really know if it was better or not, though my passenger did say it felt like it may have been better. I think it could have been better if I worked on the gas/clutch coordination, but it wasn't that bad. And of course for the record im not on the stock clutch, it was changed by the previous owner to some apparently beefy clutch as it is very heavy and grabs well. It has taken a beating and keeps going, ill be sad when it goes.

Dick, my Strange shocks just showed up and this is what the sheet says,
Control Knob Full counter-clockwise is position one (Large tab at twelve o'clock position) Compression and extension dampening are at the minimum setting. (softest) As the knob is rotated clockwise, bothe extension and compression dampening increase. (become stiffer) Rear shocks: Drag race-turn to position 5 To plant the wheels harder, rotate counter-clockwise. To decrease "wheel hop", rotate clockwise. Street- Turn to position 4 or 5 For firmer ride, Rotate clockwise Road Race- Turn to position 7 or 8 For firmer ride, rotate clockwise

sweet thanks, I just had to extend them when I put them in and they were a pain, then it dawned on me I could adjust them, I turned them all the way one way and assumed that wasn't bad as stiffer is more for handling.

oh, I just used my jack and jacked the axle up on the side so it lined up, everything was cake. I actually thought the uppers would be a pain, but they turned out to be pretty easy, spent most my time just bsing with my buddy. Lowers are getting done tonight, im putting a slot in the frame so I can hold that damn bolt.

Well I tried to see if I could tell the difference today while on dry road and I heard the scariest buzzing noise I have ever heard. I played with it and it's only when my car is squatting some, I hope it's something along the lines of the driveshaft rubbing on my xpipe and not something that's broke. I also noticed more popping noise from the rear and amnot sure what it's from. Going under my car for the lowers soon, hope I can see what's going on

Haha its all on, and its awesome, it was a lot of work getting the lowers in, spent 6 hours with a buddy working on my car. Hope it didn't hurt anything for the moment, but I even took the quad shocks off, along with a bunch of other things that seemed to be extra weight. My buddy says we probably took ~50lbs of weight off, fairly believable if you try to hold it all at once. Right now my uppers are still at stock length, my shocks are at 10 on driver side, nine on passenger, and the lowers are adjusted with the passenger side up ~1/4 inch. Didn't really get time to try it all out, I hope its not a bad start.

I went to the track last night and made a couple runs. first run, shift knob came loose and i missed second gear. Running 13psi I cut a 1.76 60'. next run, made an adjustment in air pressure (11.5psi) and to the shocks, cut a 1.71 60'. Next run I adjusted to 10 psi but got rained out before i could make another run. Here is a video of my second run.

Haha, tonight I was able to get a couple runs in (not track but whatever) man this is going to take some getting used to, then im going to be scooting fairly well. Don't have any 1/4 mile times, but damn this is noticeable. Did a couple races launching from 4.5, spinning a little, im letting the clutch out as fast as I was when launching between 1800-2200, I think I need to slow it down some. I was running 18psi, im a bit cautious about not having enough and damaging the tire as I am on stock rims, and the 275 is already wide for the rim. I did a 5second burnout and it was ~50s or so, was told if it was during the day, I deflated the tires more, or did a 10second burnout, I probably wouldn't have spun. I need to better understand how to adjust those before I start adjusting those, I think the lowers/shocks are good as is. This is all going well, cant wait to get adjustables on the front and then do a coilover swap. Im told the front suspension pretty much completely unloads now, and that it looks like I should be lifting a tire (though I know better than to expect that) How much gain is there in doing the front suspension? I don't have a 1/4 mile track near, but I am considering hitting up the 1/8th just to see what real 60ft times are looking like.
