First Night At the Track...RESULTS!!
Ok, first time I've been down the ol' quarter mile in about 5 years, and the first in my 07 gt. I only made 2 passes, and with no cooldown in between. Overall I'm pretty happy. The track prep blows, and I couldn't hook to save my life. I feel like with a little work on the launch I'll be happy. Here are the time slips...I'm #249. Let me know what u think....

You need to get your 60' down to a 2.0 or lower. Your MPH is good for better times if track prep was better

not bad, just get some wider tires now and get that launch down and you should be good for mid to lower 13s. I cant get faster than 13.5 for some reason with my tires. I cant get the launch down

Lca's will help on any tire. True street tires are useless if you want good 60fts get a dr of just about any brand and you'll see some high 1.9's to low 1.8's depending on how you drive. But most 16-17 inch dr's are only good to a mid 1.7 at best then a 15 inch dr is needed(275 or wider) for more sidewall which will absorb more shock and allow you to launch harder.
