RSX running 12s?

I pulled into my apartment complex yesterday and I see this blue RSX with a carbon fiber and numbers on the window, thinking I would get a good laugh I ask him what he ran.... he said 14.9 then 12.9 on a 75 wet shot and slicks????? this guy dropped 2 secs with a 75 shot and slicks??? what do you guys think? I think its BS...

It's rather convenient don't you think, that their both xx.9's

My money says he's never ran the car on Nitrous and is just guessing. I'd believe the 14.9 though.

my friend runs mid 12`s in his 89 civic hatch with 125 shot and he got work done 2 the plus hes car is lot liter than an rsx i think dude was bs ...

its an ff with 200 ivtec theres no way no itd be a completely different story if he was running an 18g turbo and spray but he still wouldnt be in the 12s

So I posted this same post on the celica website just to see what they had to say and they think he did.... from one of the celica guys

yes its possible. the slicks make all the difference. he can get on the no2 sooner and ride the power a lot longer with it and not worry about spinning. very easy to pick up time with slicks. its just like you straight line only guys that take off seconds by tubbing out your rear.
