1999 bolt on v6 mustang vs. 2005 v6 mustang

just for kicks, i am racing this guy from my school at carolina dragway this thursday. he has a stick (which he already lost 2nd gear because of sucky driving, but had mommy and daddy replaced it...) 05 v6 mustang stock with all this neon and sound system stuff, i have a stripped 99 v6 with long tubes, intake work, automatic, programmed, and 4.10s/ t lok. now, does this driver of mommy and daddy's money have a chance?

ill update you thursday night is he shows, o- and he might be racing a 241k miles 1984 turbo saab 900 with 135 rwhp and 172 rwtq and a good driver on stick shift. also weighing in at 2700 lbs.

so the dude with the 05 was smack talkin about how my car was all slow and shit, but he has never been to the track. i told him to enjoy his one wheel peeling with me watching via my rear view mirror... this will be my first night on 4.10s, but i have no worry taking this guy down. just looking for opinions on the matter...

with a pretty much stock v6 most will probably be looking at the boxy end of that 84 saab(Titty PatHisWinnie is his name and his blimish on the late model muscle car scene stand no chance, with mods to make it slower and wieghing in at around 34-3500lbs, Chris' 30-3200lbs) and he only, to my knowlege, has neon under his dash, and his subs suck my bro's 2 10"s 1000watts' arse

I have no idea what he is even trying to prove with his car

Also his 05v6 has a taller first gear and skinner tires inorder to do "burn outs" (fwd saabs do better ones than his 1 wheel ones lol)

i think he is trying to rice up his stang, what has the world come to?

if your going to improve a v6 stang do it the right way, do it chris' way

there is almost no way you'll lose Chris

but you have done performance modifications on top of that. i dont see a problem with a car with performance mods that wants to do what they think looks good, but teddy padazanin (titty pat-his-weiny) has burnt out hs 2nd gear due to pulling the ebrake at 45 mph and downshifting and blowing the gear. then his parents changed to a steeper firts gear just so he can lose the tread on one wheel.

i have no respect for someone whose parents always cover their ass and buy them new cars and fix them when the rich kid breaks them. no work ethic or dollar value from this kid. so i take it to be my obligation to put him in his place.

basically, my car (before gears) runs mid 15's, and im expecting low 15's or high 14's with the trac lok and 4.10s. i dont think slower than stock 05 v6's run high 14's low 15's in the 1/4 and 90+mph... he wanted to race me on the street after school and i told him i would be more than glad to race him on the track and that i wouldnt even race a stock civic on the street. i will update you whether or not he comes to the strip, and i want to get this on camera too!

since he has never been to the strip, it will look like i whoop his ass even more due to his near .555 reaction time (my first r/t of my life was .5??) he doesnt know anyone who drag races so he wil probly just roll through the water, not burnout, mess up the track...

i just dont like this guy because he thinks that since i have (value of car and mods and labor...) a 9k dollar car that his 22k dollar car must be faster... he has no factual information to back automotive claims he makes. for instance, he wants to buy a blow off valve but he has a stock n/a car. so you can draw your own conclusions from there. i hope he goes to the track so he can see some real race cars and then lose to a POS 9k dollar car.
