i got a KILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, so at my local track, they have the option to do races from a roll, and this subaru wrx races me from about a 20 mph roll, i started in second, and as soon as i hit my powerband i started gaining, and passed, and when i shifted to 3rd i kept on passing and easily walked from him. my 02 has CAI, 75mm TB and plenum, 2nd cat delete, and flowmasters, all else is stock? do i drive good or does he drive bad????? o and on the twisty track he pulled, i kept with him nicely tho, he went quicker from a dig = AWD.

Whatu guys think???

you should pull a regular wrx no problem...so not really too surprising..

i dont get it than, how is it that i can pull on a wrx easy, but i see videos on youtube of people losing to GTI's, integras, preludes, nd other ricers? how does that work out

Every car is different and every driver is different alot comes into play in a race so its hard to say...

then they aren't stock if your talking about our cars racing them...or the driver sucks/wrong gear or something of the sort lol.

wow, some people must suck at driving

or else the guys in the mustangs dont know what their opponents have done to their cars...

i took down a TT 300zx before with my car. ('02 GT with all the bolt-on's) the kid talked alot of smack, weighed 350+ and his car had a boost leak from the one turbo so all that helped me wipe him all over the place

could there be the possibility that some mustangs are simply faster than others, becuz ive driven others and they just dont pull as hard as mine

do they all have similar mods? and are they of the same year range (the 96-98 non-pi cars are kind of slow) and lastly, does your car have different gears in the rear?

my car doesnt have gears, and yea, im talking stock for stock, at least that i know of, unless my car has internal work, or a tune that i wudnt know of.

+1 on that i just came back from a road trip and found out my car had 4.10's in it. i was doing 80 MPH and i was just about a 3K.

That sounds a bit high for 4.10. What size tires are you running? I run 2600 RPMs at 80 MPH on 17in. x 55 x 235. I make this run twice a day so I am sure of my RPM's. I usually get 22 MPG.

I wish I knew wat kind of gears I have.... I don't fully understand how to find out tho. Damn my ignorance! I'm pretty sure they're stock tho but not sure

it was around 2600 *mabye a little higher* thats the same tires i have too.

whats your rpm at 50 60 70 and 80 mph and your tire size?

IllJill have to look at my rpms on my way to work tomorrow and tire size... I have the stock rims so watever size fits those haha

raise car up, put tape on a spot on the wheel and a spot on the drive shaft. spin the DS (in neutral) one full revolution and see how many revolutions the tires make. 3.55=3.55 gears, 3.73=3.73's and so on and so on. stock is 3.27 in these cars.
