well rev it up a lot like 4k+ and drop the clutch and ease onto the brake, probably wanna do it in 2nd gear just make sure you rev it up a lot. also, i once had poor tires and tried burning out....no smoke, just ugly noises. do yourself a favor and get some real tires because it's probably the best and safest mod to get...powers no good if it doesn't reach the ground

I don't know how far apart the brake and gas pedals are in the fox bodies but in my 03 GT i'm able to do the heal, toe thing. I just put my toe's on the gas and heal on the brake with my left foot holding down the clutch. I rev the motor up to round 3,000 rpm's with the brake slightly applied and I quickly release the clutch. It's not hard at all doing it this way and works for me everytime. My tire's start spinning immediately and if the car starts to move i'll just apply a little more brake to stop movement. I only do this in 1st and haven't tried 2nd yet. I only do it to heat my tires a little.

i use 2nd, but then again i have an aftermarket clutch so you may want to stick to 1st +1 to getting new tires and its pretty simple, pull up and drive THROUGH the water, do not do your burnout in the water, it throws water into your wheel wells and then it drips back onto your tires and you dont launch as well, so go through the water, rev it ( i rev to 4k) then dump the clutch and take your left foot and put slight pressure on the brakes, that will engage your front brakes but let the back ones spin, then hold the burnout as long as you want or until you get a little too sideways then let off the brake and gas but be sure to push the clutch back in or else you will stall

If you are on street tires (not drag radials) you don't need to do a burnout, it's not going to help you and it's going to tear up the track for the people with stickier tires. Just roll around the water box and spin the tires a little to get of the debris. I agree with getting a line lock for burnouts though; love mine.

I wouldnt reccomend driving through the water box without skinny tires up front. You can pull around the box and back up into it but I agree with Mellow. Street tires dont really benifit from a burnout besides cleaning them off a little and you dont need water to help spin them.

I was also saying to pull around the box. I wouldn't even back in.
