Chrysler 300 hemi VS. 95 5.0

soo i have a friend who is very tired of eating my rubber in his small ford contour...his answer to his loss is another race...not in his car but his MOMS car. Which just so happens to be a stock chrysler 300. I have CAI and full 3 inch exhaust...I feel confident in my 5.0...what is yalls opinion???

is it an srt8, a hemi, or the v6. i would have to say if it is the srt8 there is no way in hell with those mods you have.

300 v6 2.7 rwd has Hp = 190 @ 6400 RPM Torque=190 @ 4000

300 touring V6 3.5 Liter HO awd has Hp= 250 @ 6400 RPM Torque=250 @ 3800 RPM

300C V8 5.7 Liter HEMI rwd HP=340 @ 5000 RPM Torque=390 @ 4000 RPM

my moms charger rt from a 40 roll barely pulls on me but it still pulls and it has 22inch wheels so it has bad final drive ratios, if its a sixer i think you got him, if its a c or srt-8 than no

Any of the c class 300's will murder you as well with the srt-8. the touring v6 will probably scare you if not beat you.

my mom has the 300C V8 5.7 Liter HEMI rwd, and that gets around low to mid 14's in the quarter mile, and she destroys my car no problem. I mean, she's got a 350z too and their times are almost identical in the quarter. So you have no chance i would say...

There was a 300c ( Hemi 5.7 ) at Rockingham today .. had full exhaust .. CAI intake .. and tune and ran a 13.36 on some Drag Radials .. ODD .. but still ....

Well i went to the track tonight n there was this 300 Hemi, it had 4 drunk guys in it racing it, but it ran 14.3 and 14.4 and i ran a 14.3 with a shitty launch time for my first track race. so yea. but then again i have an 00' GT auto, not a 95

There's a guy at the track here with a new magnum with the hemi engine in it and he ran a 12.9 @ 106ish last week. I was amazed that car could haul it's heavy ass down the track that fast. Oh yeah, it looked completely stock, stock wheels and tires, stock exhaust, stock intake all that shit. Pretty quick for a heavy ass car.

No they wont he has a GT not a sixer.. The V6 will not scare him he will dust it.. The SRT-8 he will for sure not beat.. The others will be close... If its on the street he will hook better for sure so dont launch hard cuz you will get your ass handed to you even maybe by the V6 if you spin like crazy... Put on some heads, cam and intake and it will be without question...

Well I know from witnessing it the 3.5 ho v6 charger won't beat a 99/00 auto v6.

But my family test drove the srt-8 magnum yesterday. It was just plain sick. We had my mom, my dad, a big black guy, and myself in the car and it must of hit 0-60 in stock trim no problem with the extra weight.

It handles like a beast and it keeps chugging up top no problem. But Trust me John, it's not pulling off 12's anytime soon.

and btw no worries the test drive was just for my mom.

Wow thats wierd I pulled on a yellow daytona Charger RT back in november, when I got in to third had him by about 2 cars, is your mom's car modded!
