What will my car trap?

Just a random question...when I'm done with my car (Vortech V1 S trim setup almost identical to Shaun03's except powerpipe and different intercooler) what do you guys think my trapping MPH will be in the quarter mile? Stock suspension, and drag radials, maybe slicks, 10-11lbs of boost, looking from 375-400rwhp

Assuming you're at or close to sea level, probably 115 give or take a couple mph

I dont know how accurate this is, but theres a calculator you enter the weight of the car (with you in it) and the horsepower at the flywheel.

With mine, my trap speed should be around 115mph. I dont know how accurate it is though. Only way to tell is go to the track. Drag radials will help your time, but lower your E.T, slicks will do the same, but lower ur trap alittle more. I dont know why?

Shaun which calculator did you use and i'll tell you how close it is? And with what you have I think you'll be lucky to trap 112.

you should probably see close to 120mph with that hp level.... my gt with a 100shot trapped 114mph and my new car on 10lbs trapped 124mph and it made 470rwhp. a friend with a setup like yours at 420rwhp ran 11.4@120. it depends on your altitude....

Yup, I plan on 120 but i got a little too much gear with my tires so probaly will just rev it out and stay at like 117mph, Dont want to go to 5th lol. But yeah the altitude is straight here. And Shaun im on MT ET street radials. I had 35 psi in them because i stopped at the track home from work and wanted to see if it would hook and have a taller tire because of the air to help take out a tad bit of gear but it spun both runs and i dropped it to 17psi, Launched at 2500 and broke all my spider gears in my rear. sweet right?
