Spare rim

Saw this on another forum. Can you use your spire rim with a tire better than 55mph to save some weight for cheap?

The spare rim is pretty heavy!

Probably as heavy as the stock rim.

you can but please dont do it,it might make one pass or it might make 50 but it will come apart at some point and it wont be good,set of skinnies are cheaper than your car or life,jmho

I think he was wondering about putting a real tire on it.

HE was but i still wouldnt trust a spare rim, the do nut rim is not build like a regular wheel

don't do it bro. it worked ok on Foxes with the aluminum spare wheels, but these wheels are quite heavy.
