First time

I read the sticky above good info and I appriciated it. Any others? I plan on removing the spare and other unnessesary weight. Would it be worth it to remove my sway bar?
Any other tips and tricks?

BTW, Im running an 02 stick v6, with a AM CAI, tune, street tires
against 94 stick v6 camaro..

I'd leave the spare tire in until I learned how to launch the car at the strip. You will need all the weight that you can have on the rear tires until you learn ...

Removing the front sway bar will help a little bit.

Buy a bag of ice and put it on your intake before you run - this will help maximize any horsepower.

Yeah leave that stuff in the trunk, it'll help your launch which is the thing most new drag racers mess up. Last time I went out I had my spare tire, full size jack, subs, amp and a 70 lb tube of sand in my trunk (from winter driving) and I still spun through first.

Oh yeah and if you are just going by times to determine who wins, don't worry about the lights and your reaction time. They don't affect ET
