Auto and stick is a huge difference in 60fts...especially if you have trans brake.
btw someone mentioned M&H drag tires, those are also an excellent tire of choice

Congrats to your 1.7 60s but its not quite 1.5.
My buddy had a GT500 making a massive amount of power and he had the record for the best 60ft at 1.47 or 1.49 on a drag radial(GT500)...and BOGARTS not an 18in street wheel.
btw the GT500 made well over 800whp through a twin screw and nitrous. w/a 6speed

not saying its going to take 800+whp. but with 467 through probably a centri blower...no its not happening
you do realize people have been much faster than 1.47's on dr's right.
as far as the 1.72's, I brought that up to make a point that I don't even have 300rwhp & could go a little more if I would switch to M/T's
reguardless though, 1.5's aren't the hardest thing in the world, I've been 1.5's on much less than 467 (diffrent car than this one though)

lol yes Iam well aware. it was a 6speed gt500 record...
theres many ways to cut 1.5 60s with less then 467...but with a 5speed 3500+lb car probably closer to 3700 with the driver, on a 18in street wheel...its not going to happen. I agree with what you're saying, but in the OP's case its just false hope.

thats where the lack of power shows up, 13.2 @ 102.
still working on some tune issues though, I think I'll see a 12.9x before going into the motor.
