Here is is a 12.3 at our track. ChrisJ had a chart that said everything. So he will probably help you out.

i dont believe you need a roll cage for 12.3. most likely a roll bar. i think anything below 10 sec is a roll cage but not positive

well I mean that is our track regulation on a modified car. If it is like a stock car they don't care but if you are running a modified engine they require it.

that is bullshit, you don't need a roll-bar on a coupe till 11.49. Got to the 99-04 section and i posted a sticky on nhra rules.

IDk thats what the guy at the track told me he asked if I was modified and I said alittle and he told me if I ran a sub 12.3 I couldn't race till I got a cage.

NHRA is 11.99 for a roll bar and IHRA is 11.49.

A roll cage is 10.99 NHRA and 10.49 IHRA.

I believe that information to be correct unless things have changed this year. Anything faster than 8.50 needs a SFI 25.5 certified chassis in NHRA and IHRA.

Yes. The rules depend on what organization the track is operates under, IHRA or NHRA.

just read off MM & FF not to but 3days ago...NHRA says once you hit 11.49 you need at least a 6point roll cage.
and i think 9.99 needs a dif cage...not 100% on that one but i know its 11.49 requires 6point cage
