NMRA World Finals (Bowling Green Sep 30-Oct 3)

I'm going to be heading to Bowling Green for the NMRA World Finals this year. Was just wondering who else might be going from the forums. I'm only going to be able to be there for Saturday, but I'm really looking forward to it. I think I'm going to run my car in true street on the 14.0 index.

They usually have a dyno there for the King of the Street competition, I believe. Does anyone know if they'll allow other people to make pulls on it? I'd love to see what my car's putting down.

theres a good chance we'll be going (moral support only, wouln't be bringing the car but want to see how some friends in points type situations make out). I'll let you know as it gets closer.

Yeah, I saw where your car broke and was wondering if you'd still come. Let me know if you do wind up coming. Would like to meet up if you do wind up coming.

Do you know if there's usually a dyno there that is open to everyone?

we'll be there on sat for shure, cars fixed, but I'm not towing all the way down there for 1 day.
as to the dyno, I don't know if they'll have one or not.

Excellent. I'll see you guys there, then. Looks like I'm going to have my slicks in before then after all so I won't be running True Street. Probably bracket 2.

I emailed the NMRA offices this morning asking if there would be a dyno there. Here is their response:

Andrew - Modular Depot will be running the dyno in Bowling Green and YES you can put your car on the dyno at the event. Thanks! Steve Wolcott

Sounds like fun but I'll be at the No-Box Bonanza at Norwalk this weekend. I'm hoping to get my first 12 second slip since comverting to the TH350. Got aBBR email tune last weekend. Ran 13.09 at Quaker which is the fastest I've run with the auto. Typically .2 faster at Norwalk. Good luck to everyone at NMRA!

good luck at Norwalk, 5k doesn't sound bad, was gonna head up myself, but the NMRA bug is addicting & I still need to learn a few tricks of the trade before next season
