new best 10.16....idk how i got it...i had a shitty 60ft(kept spinning again) 2.4
and a horrible reaction time of 1.01...first run of the night
and managed 10.16 in the 1/8mile
with better tires im sure i could hit the 60 in 2.3 at least

i had other runs but they sucked as well, missed 2nd once, and third twice in 3 races...so frustrated then a last run of 10.24 and a sloppy 60 ft of damm near 2.5


story time:
track closed at 12:30ish, when i left a turboed GT and srt-4...(turboed GT was badass and ran just under 7 in the 1/4 with i think he said about 14psi.)
anyway they leave along with 10 other people to get back on the road...well they decide to race once they hit the street...right next to me is a charger they i didnt see at the trackk...well the GT and SRT take off...with in 2 seconds the charger next to me flashes its like...yuup and undercover cop. pulled both them over
laughed my ass off, went down the road(its like a 5mile highway before you reach a street or road.) saw at least 3 pairs of cars..all from the track cuz you can see the numbers on the back pulled over for racing most likely

well it closed, and i guess they didnt get enough...idk, stupidest thing ever. if they knew anything about that area, they'd a known that not even a mile down is where there used to be all the street races...too many cops and then thats why they opend the track...

they should have known cops were still infested in that area

i'd rather pay $20 and race for as many times as i want for a few hours then have my car towed

as for my bad 60fts, im getting paid this upcoming friday...money im goin to a junkyard lookin for an 8.8 rear end. and if they dont have it at the one near me then im calling other places. mon or tues i get my xcal2.
friday i get paid, i'll have my rear end hopefully by then or on saturday then try it out sunday get some new 60ft times and 1/8mile times.

i also forgot to mention...my firstrun was against a GTO...i won, but apparently the owner let his friend drive thats why he did so bad.. his 1/8 time was 10.7!!! thats horrible. this is a new GTO keep in mind. but the owner of the car got in the second time and did MUCH better, idk what he ran though


also had a dump truck go and race.....it was a waste of time...he got like 3 in the 1/8 mile.....3 minutes

What are you getting the 8.8 for? I thought they made gears for the rearend you've already got...

You should try to take off your front sway bar, that'll help you out a lot with weight transfer and traction.

EDIT:: Only take off the sway bar while at the track. You don't want to be driving a car on the street without one....

the track is kind of a joke(not ment to be though), DIRTY ass trucks with dirt all over the truck run on it, 4-wheelers run there, almost anyone can run...theres no organization what so ever, instead of 2 staging lanes its more like 100feet of cars tryin to squish in...people park w/e they want...if itslike that next time im goin to give some suggestions to them as well as a complaint

also the place opens at 5....but no one can run til 630 when the track it prepped...its stupid..when they open the track should be already prepped and done

i guess its a friend of the owners..not sure...it was a waste of time and waste that funny....the idea was but watching it hit the 1/8 mark at 15mph its boring

they make gears for my car but i dont wana buy t-lok and eventually im gonna need the 8.8 rear end anyway.

i wana take off the front sway bar but this visit to the track wasnt to planned...and i actually hooked better with my spare tire and jack in the trunk then without it.

i probably will try it eventually, within this month. every time i get a new mod i wana run my car just as it was before to see what it did for me..(the new mod or w/e)

Yeah, I REALLY want to get to the track early one day and get a lot of runs in... I also want to take the front sway bar off, pull out the jack and spare, front passenger head light, different shit like that but I go to the track by myself and I don't want to worry about some ass running off with a pile of parts that they don't even know what it came off of...
