Just a small one to clean them off, some parts on the return lane have gravel and soil so i do one just to be safe

just making sure. too much of one can get the tires to hot and the oils in the rubber will come to the surface and make them slippery.
How are you leaving the line? are you dumping the clutch or slipping it a little?

sumitumos LOVE a burnout.
i cut 1.8's consistently with mine...would NOT hook unless i heated them up. despite what is true to MOST street tires. good trap...ET could be a bit better and will get lower with a better sixty

Yeah he had good experience with Sumi's but the ones on my car were terrible. I tried small burnout, long burnout, normal PSI, low PSI and every combo in between and could not get below a 2.2-2.4 60 foot even let my buddie try to run it that has had a lot of fast cars and he couldnt get it to hook either.. I could not even floor it in 1st and had to leave at idle to keep it from spinning. Street tires are just garbage for the track.
