11 V6 vs. 99-04 gt?
ive been really curious.. i just upgraded from a 99 v6 to a 2011 3.7 v6 automatic dead stock..
so i have been thinking how will it do againts a 99-04 gt? |

The 2011 Mustang V6 should be a tad quicker. Those things run high 13's I read. The 2004 GT run like low 14s.

And its a HUGE diffrence! So much more handling such a silent cabin And i got to say pics up like no other mustang v6 So considering My stang being stock i still Have the advantage

I would definately say you would win, but older cars like are tricky its hit and miss on whether they are stock or not.

If you want to magazine race, I would say the new V6. But reality is NEVER EVER the same as magazine racing. So I say they are evenly matched and whoever is the better driver will win.

Our 2011 V6 auto with a CAI/Tune had no problem walking on my 07 GT with CAI/Tune by about half a car length. Now with the intake manifold, cams, tb, etc. I'm confident, but that's pretty impressive that a fairly stock auto V6 can chase down V8's all day.

I raced GTRACER88 with my bolt on and supsension 01 GT (mods in garage). He has a (Then stock) 2011 grabber blue V6.
He pulled around a bus on me from a roll. Wasn't that organized of a race though.
