'07 Turbo Focus vs '10 Mustang GT

Focus best 1/4 mile: 12.93 @ 105mph - 230whp/215wtq
Stang best 1/4 mile: 13.18 @ 107mph - 308whp/320wtq

The Stang owner is a member on here, iceguyb14. We've been joking around about meeting up at MIR sometime this year since we run almost similar times and he's a former turbo Focus owner I've known for a while on Focaljet. His mods at the time were with CAI, cat-back exhaust, tune, and LCAs (I think, he can chime in on that). He has since picked up 18x10 tires with some grip. I'm not sure of the exact tire but much better than what he has now. He's done a few other things I'm sure over the winter but I'm not up to date. He should definitely be punching 12s in this year either way. The 12.93 with my Focus was before the LSD, 4.06 gear (stock was 3.82), and 5500rpm 2step (it was 4500rpm on the 12.93 pass). He's already trapping higher than me but I've got a bigger edge on the low end with the LSD, gear, and slicks. What's your thoughts? Who would win this battle?

NOTE: This race would be for fun / bragging rights only and at a 1/4 mile drag strip. No street racing involved here.

if the only thing he changed was a better tire, I think it will be close but you should beat him.

LOL, should be a drivers race...the best out of three to make it honest...or best out of five to make it fun?
