Tire inflation question

I have Nitto 555 275/35/19's and run them at 36 psi for DD use. They are the regular 555's and not the R compounds.

What is the lowest psi I should run them at the strip? Should I leave the fronts at 36 psi on the drag strip as well?

I've got 275s in the rear, and 245s in the front, both 555's and you don't wanna touch the fronts. If anything you'd wanna air the fronts up so you get less friction since less tire will touch the ground but i'd just leave them the same. I've tried dropping to 20psi in the rear and honestly can't tell if it helped or not on these tires, my track sucks though for traction so its not much to compare to. I'd say you won't ever get traction with them on your 2011 though!

You need to make your first run at the regular pressure. You can make adjustments from there. Remember the more pressure means less resistance! So if you can launch with no traction issues at 36 lbs you may run slower with less pressure.
