New best 1/4 mile time
no nitrous all motor
226rwhp and 266 rwtq 2.1 60 ft 13.99 @99mph not bad for a heavy ass convertible with stock gears 18" wheels and SHITTY street tires mods are so far x pipe flowmaster 40's C&L plenum 75 mm tb C&L inlet pipe

sweet man! my first time ever at the track was saturday, had a blast, with stage 1 comp cams, LTs, catless xpipe and k&n on bald street tires ran 13.68! cant wait to do it again, i think i could have possibly gotten quicker, i went from 14.1-14.2-13.8-13.8-13.6 and we left after that run.

That's awesome man I had the opposite experience on my first track day (today)...my first run was the fastest 14.83 @ ~92mph from my v6
All my times after that were 14.97 and above...sad face. Maybe I was over-thinking the launches, maybe beginners luck, maybe engine temps were higher, but that first launch was my best by far and couldn't hit it again! I def. need more practice to bring those times down...oh and already got a new tune to try out, based on the datalog from today

haha it was my first time so don't rag on me too hard
I know I botched one launch pretty bad, just spun tires and didn't move anywhere....the rest were getting better but I need more practice for sure. I hope to get down there again before it gets too hot out, I have a new tune to test out!

yeah it almost seems better for me to launch around 1200rpms and keep the tires sticking, even though i feel the converter lock up higher around 1600rpm and that would probably give me better launch if the tires were better

Nice man congrats. Throw some 4.10's on there with a 3800-4000stall, shiftkit and some NT555Rs and youll be deep 13's on motor, 12s on spray. But you would need a cage faster then 13.5 right?

what is the weight of your vert? I'm wondering how new edge 'verts compare to fox body 'verts like mine.
