St. Louis 1/4 race tracks?

So idk if this really should go in here, but if it gets move no big deal. Anyway since Gateway International raceway got closed at the end of last years track season I have no idea where to go for racing anymore.

Does anyone around the STL know of any race tracks to go to? And no Hall Street is not an option cause that is a very very bad place.

Yep, we're hoping to see GIR reopen in July. My fingers are crossed.

In the meantime, I'm trailering the car to the 1/8th mile track at Sikeston and to Memphis Motorsports Park (in Memphis, TN).

lol "should", "hope", I heard", "is going to", ive heard them all, and honestly I wont believe it until it happens. There is way too much money needed to get GIR open. I personally hope it does just to have some where to race but i have a hard time believing.

Gateway has a better chance to open the Marpark or w/e, but thats me.

I think you mean Mid America Raceway Park. I've heard that project has come to a halt for various reasons.

Hey Scott where is Lindbergh or Chesterfield bottoms located at? I tried looking them up on google but to no avail. Are they a street racing spot or an actual Drag strip? Not that I care either way lol but that way I know what to look for.

They're street racing areas.

Alright I'm from the Illinois side of the river so Idk either of those area's very well are they very hard to fine? Also what nights do they race and times??

I haven't played around on the street since my young and dumb days, so I have no idea what times/nights.
