AC Idler
Due to the weather in the UK i am considering deleting the AC to reduce the weight before the front wheels and installing the battery in the trunk in an attempt to improve the launch ( running 550bhp cannot put it down ).
Your thoughts , how much weight loss ,any other suggestions ? |

removing the a/c for weight sake alone isn't really worth it (aprox 30 lbs.) but it does free up a bunch of room in the engine compartment.
with all the rules reguarding moving the battery (in the US anyway) & the cost, you'll find most hardcore guys leave them under the hood unless they have to move them. the best thing you can do for traction is suspension & tires, all the small things like your mentioning wouln't help you a whole lot.
