Like Zinc said track and the streets are completely different. You will never dead hook on a street. Also you don't have sticky tires so you won't snap anything unless they put glue on the track. Practice your rpm launches at the track until you find that sweet spot.

Stage deep and leave when you see the last amber light come on. I have beat many quicker cars at the tree on a heads up run doing just that.

Deep stage is when you enter the lane and the top 2 prestage lights turn off and the bottom staged lights remain on after they were all on at once.

That is how you can win in a drivers race.

Good luck and have fun.

One tip that helped me my first time was being the first one to stage on your first time. That way you are ready. It really helped me. Maybe that was because it was a big track event day and I was really nervous but idk.
You'll have a blast though and good luck.

Nice, but just a warning, any street races being talked about here could mean some serious consequences. Just letting ya know bro.

Ah ok. Point taken, how do I delete comments or a whole thread? I'll just leave it at I didn't ever get my first drag run in, spring is on its way though!
