12.5@108....... Stock Longblock 2V
My goal for next Sunday now that the rear end is fixed. DA is going to be a bit high, but with a rear that works and a little more weight reduction than the last time out, I've set 12.5X@108 as my goal for next week.
The only kicker is that I'll still be on Nitto 555R's, which won't let me launch as hard as I want to, but at 12-13lbs, they hook decent enough with my suspension to get a low 1.7 60ft time.

good luck with it, I've consistantly gotten 1.72's out of my old 555r's so I'm shure you'll be fine.
Will should be getting ahold of you about those QTP's though, mabie they can be on by then.

Good luck! Those 555R's will definitely work for you...it's just getting a good feel for the tire. I get consistent 1.6X 60's with mine, and got a best of a 1.67 60' last time out.
![]() EDIT: Don't know what 555r's you are running, I'm guessing the ones with a taller sidewall, but mine are 315/35-17's....just to give you an idea.

Mine are 275/60/15's, a lot of sidewall. They seem to work OK, but nothing like I'm used to running. Last year I was running Hoosier Drag Radials, which are the most aggressive drag radial on the market. These feel like running a street tire after launching on those....

My car is probably 500-600lbs lighter than yours at this point as well. Weight and a dedicated drag suspension make a huge difference.

Good luck! Have you tried going with a tad more tire pressure? Maybe like 14psi?

Good luck! My best in my old 99 GT years ago, in similar trim was 12.43@107.9 on a slick. 12.7@107 on a Nitto DR.
I have a good friend locally, that had an 02 GT (recently sold) with a similar combo as my old 99 and yours, and he was running 275/50 nitto tires and cutting 1.54 - 1.59 all day long with an el cheapo Auto Zone clutch. (12.39@109 were his times) 1.50 on nitrous (11.2@122) So, it CAN be done for sure. A slipping clutch is the ticket ![]() Get it done!
