Backspacing for front tires?
Im really wanting to get a nice full set of drag wheels for the car. I was looking at those Jegs Sports star wheels, and I really like them. I was going to run the 15x8s out back, then 15x4 in front.
Unless would the 15x10's work? Or would I have to roll the fenders? Not sure if any of these would work? http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...Search&Dx=mode matchallpartial&storeId=10001&Ntx=mode matchallpartial&N=4294964870+4294901975+3019100&re direct=false Also, I want to get the front tires, how much backspacing do I need up front? Stock brakes. They have ones with 1.75" of backspacing thats it. The other has different bolt pattern. One last question, depending on if those 15x10's work without rolling the fenders, what size Hoosier QTP could I run? Or for the 15x8s? Thanks guys, reps!

The link isnt working right, I dont know why. But theres a few different 15x10's. Just dont know how much backspacing I would need for those, without rolling the fenders. And what the biggest size tire is.

15x10s will work no problem without rolling fenders. The tire size has more to do with fender clearance than the wheel size anyway.
1.75" on the front will work, but you'll have to either grind a little bit off of the caliper bracket (not the caliper itself) or run a spacer. A spacer will require longer studs and really...it's only about 5 minutes worth of grinding and it doesn't affect your braking or safety at all, so I would just grind them down a bit. You could run a 26x11.5x15 on either wheel (which has a 10" tread width). You could also step up to a 28x11.5x15, like F8L but that would require some work on the fenders.

Cool thanks man! Repped. I may go back to 4.10s, so that will play apart in what size tires I get, 26" or 28".
So these tires Hoosier 17421QTP Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T. Drag Tires On these wheels JEGS Performance Products 67088 JEGS Sport Star Cast Aluminum Wheels Will work fine? I Have longer studs in the back. As for the front, Ill just grind the caliper bracket down some, rather then getting spacers. Ill get these for the front: JEGS Performance Products 67051 JEGS Sport Star Cast Aluminum Wheels Everything look good?

Yep. That should be fine. If you have longer studs in the back, you'll probably have to use open ended lug nuts.
Just remember that if you go with a 28" tire, you're going to need to do some work on the fenders.

Okay thanks for letting me know man, much appreciated. Ill probably just stick with the 3.73s and 26" tire. But I may go to 4.10s.
Thanks again man
