I'm pleased to announce the official debut of the BAMA Performance Drag Team.

basically were looking for all the guys/gals that are tuned by BAMA to get out to the track & give it a try.

in return not only does the tuning team get more drag data this way & that helps us all, but mabie if more drag racers voices get together AM could see the potential in carrying more hardcore drag parts.

for now though all you get is to be able to put the official BAMA Performance Drag Team banner in your signature & if you send me pics, videos, point stats, etc from your racing adventures, I'll forward them to the AM staff for consideration of being included in their blog, newsletters, etc.

the only requirement is that your tuned by BAMA & have the desire to go to the track.

feel free to pm me or post in this thread any questions.

ive had nothing but issues with my bama tune

it will not idle correctly and dies when coming to a stop.

It's hard to concentrate with your avatar!!! But no complaints.

Are you positive it's with the tune? If you remove the tune, does it eliminate the problem?

Could it be a vacuum leak or exhaust leak?

im running an SCT tune and it runs great. no exhaust leaks or vacuum leaks.

Have you contacted Bama? They worked with me to get my tune right.

i pmed amchris on here and we talked back and forth, then he just stopped responding. i gave up once i felt the customer service went to shit. :-/

Call and talk to Erik, he bent over backwards to get mine right. AMChris has nothing to do with the tuning so its best to call them.

chris said he had talked with the tuning guys and he would get back to me, after that he stopped pming me and then didnt respond to a later pm.

when i first got the tune, it wasnt setup for TC to be off(dont have a TC button) when i had said to have it off, it wasnt set for my 4.10s and it didnt have the 2step i had asked for either. so i had to call about that initially.

im gonna just call in and get a whole new tune eventually and see how it goes cause ive done some more work to the car since this last tune.

it's actually just the oposite, the reason for all this on my side as well as AM/BAMA's side is to get guys like you involved or at least talking about it.

as to your tuning problems, call the tuning dept & let them know where your at. they will do their best to fix your problems, it does take a few tries to get all the bugs worked out when your tuning via e-mail so try & be patient, it will get resolved.

as to Chris not returning pm's, the staff at AM/BAMA is very hard working (ie. their all busting their ass to take AM/BAMA to the next level every day)
if Chris got behind on pm's I'm shure it wasn't done with the intent on doing any harm to you guy's relationship.

lastly your not messing up the thread, this thread is here for you guys to do whatever we need to do to get your car right & mabie get you to the track, if not now then in the future.

heres a vid of me goin down the 1/8. ran a 9.31 with a horrid 2.1 60' this was with my bama tune. there is a lot im leaving behind... the car is definitely faster.

thanks for your feed back Chris, we appiciate you allowing us to form this "team"/etc & I hope we can all benifit from it.
