So ill be going to the track this weekend or next. With my buddy who got a lt1 firebird n was woundering if my gt could beat him he got lt n cutouts. what time should I run around I have what's in my sig plus my rearends geting built so ill have a true trac n 31 spline axles n a dyno tune n maybe mm controll arms. Na I don't have the spary hooked up yet n ill be on 555r 315 (what psi should I run in them to)

Do you have a timming adjuster? He only has lt's and cutout's? Are you sure of that? he doesn't have a cai and cat-back? A car that has lt's almost always has other mods. Lt's are a huge pain and usualy the last bolt-on to be added to an lt1. I'm not gonna lie if he has a tune for those lt's a it's gonna be a close race at the strip. My brothers auto firebird with just bolt-ons(stock gears, exhaust manifolds,intake) it ran 13.36@102 on street tires. I had my TA down to 12.98@103.03 with bolt-ons on 245/50/16 nitto dr's.

I'd be having him pop the hood and checking everything myself. It won't be hard to tell most mods on an lt1. A ported stock tb might be your biggest issue if he does have one. I went from 14.39@97 with just a cat-back on mine to 14.09@98 just adding a ported stock tb. The throttle response change is insane on those. So get to looking if you can and check for suspension mods as well. It's not hard to get fbodys to hook really well.
