15x8 with 5" backspacing?
ok so i cannot find a 15x8 wheel with 5.5" BS for under $100. but i did find a 15x8 with 5" backspacing for $78. im going to be running a 26x10 Hoosier slick. will i have any issues with this setup? im currently running stock wheels with 275s with no issue if that means anything.
someone please help me out, im getting the slicks tomorrow. but need wheels. im getting the slicks for $100 for the pair, only ran on the track less than 10 passes.

5" bs should be OK so long as you stay with a 26" tire, so long as you're OK with it sticking out an extra 1/2".

just read that american muscle sells the drag wheels, and they are 5.3" would .3" really make a difference? i dont think they would cut it that close. and im only running a 10" slick, which is a 255 tire.

should be ok...
i run 15x8's with 5.5" backspacing but with an 11.50 and have no problems. you'll be running a half inch less backspacing but will also have a narrower tire so i think you'll be alright.

1/2" less BS but 1.5" less tire, so if im doing my math correct your tire sticks out 3/4" more that mine, so remove 1/2" from the outside for backspacing, and ill still be in 1/4" more than you
