Got a converter and gears. I went from a 2.1 60 foot to a 1.83 60 foot. Much better and got me in the 12's, but still way softer than a my Fox (1.69 60 foot low 13 second car) I just need to get used to a 4 valve Mod engine. Getting in the 12's at Columbus in 95 degree heat helped.

not too far off then i don't guess...my car is the same way.. real lazy on motor. nitrous fixes that

but i only have a 3k stall...only cuts high 1.8 60 foots. a higher stall should def. help if you wanted to go higher
i remember searching on youtube a while back and found a bolt on mach with a 3600 stall and he was also only cutting a 1.8 as well

That's so werid. My TA with bolt-ons and a 3500 stall cut consistent 1.7's. But with h/c/I and a 4200 it now cuts 1.5's. I think a 4000 is a must for mustangs though as their peak torque is around 38-4200.

I think it is more of a 4 valve thing. My friends GT with bolt ons, 3500 stall, and 4.10's 60 foots 1.7's. My old Fox 60 footed 1.6's all day with a C4 and 3.73's. My Mach is faster in the 1/4 than my Fox was, but I do miss that hit when I stepped on the gas.
