Wanna guess my times?

So tonight will be my first time at the strip, and I was wondering if you guy wanted to guess my times I'll run. Keep in mind that my car is really setup up for road racing/autocross. My mods are: mac carted x into lm1s, bbk cai, tokico spec d struts and shocks, h&r sport springs, 93 race tune, rear seat delete, but I have all seasons on the wheels 245/45/17. I'm guessing low 14s but would be happy with a 14 flat. Happy guessing!

You're probably gonna be right where you're thinking, 14.5-14.0

Agreed, if poor traction, then I would lean more to the mid to upper 14's.

Good luck man. I was gonna go tonight, but its to hot out for the car. Im gonna wait til September/October when its nice and cool out

Well i ran 14.4 with no tune and just a cai and muffler delete when i first got mine so i will say 14.2 to 14.4 depending on traction.

so after sitting in traffic from braintree to danvers(~3 hours) me and my friend got to the track about 2 and a half hours after the night began and had about the sametime to get runs in. I got 4 runs total with a best time of 14.953 @ 100.38 mph. I guess that isnt too bad for my first time drag racing considering im much better at the corners

btw, my friend with a stock(and a CAI) 06 GT ran a 13.9 @ 102.47 mph. Forgot to mention the first run i basically did a burn out through 3rd and I launch like crap

Its humid as hell up here. The air is so dense too. Theres no point in racing in this weather. It is cooling off though, today wasnt the case.

Not bad for your first time man. With the trap speed, you can definatley run 13.8 ish. But your setup for twisties.
