Track Times??

Hey guys it has been a very long time since I have signed on here. For starters I purchased a 2003 Cobra back in January after my GT got totalled and have been having a blast with it. My fuel pumps went out a month and a half ago and will be installing the new pumps this Friday and hopefully going to the track that night. I plan on pulling out every seat in the car except for the driver seat of course and running slicks and skinnies at the track. Temps are suppose to be in the mid 50s that night so I am hoping to finally get the timeslip I am wanting which is 11.4@120+ or better. What do you guys think? Can I pull it off?

Mods: Steg IV ported blower, 2.93 upper 6lb lower with the supporting mods of course. fully built irs. Car is making 501/505 right now.

with a good 60' you shouldn't have any problems

Thanks man. I'm still waiting on my new pumps to come in so I'm about two weeks away from getting to the track but when I'm able to get down there I will give her hell. I would love to hook up a 100 shot that way if I did hit the 11.4 I could go for the 10s

get it runnin real good at the track and then throw a 100 shot on there. you'll love the spray.

I think youll be running low 11's. Id say around 11.2 @ 123mph if the weather holds up. Get some videos!

I doubt I will get close to the 11.2 mark unless we get some great DA here but there will definitely be some videos because there will be a grudge match going down when I am able to make it to the track. Me and one of my buddies that has a TT 05 GTO have been going back and forth a lot on who beats who everytime we race so we are finally going to take it to the track for me to prove I can out drive him. He hasn't enjoyed seeing the tail lights of my cobra to much. He's hoping to run a high ten but I just don't see him being able to hook well enough to get the 60' in order to do it.

But on a side note my pumps came in lastnight and am hoping to get them installed tonight that way I have plenty of time to play with the car and make sure all of the parameters in the tune are where they are suppose to be to run her at her full potential for the first time since I have had her.
