Fun Ford Weekend - October 15

Anyone else headed to the Fun Ford event at Memphis Motorsports Park tomorrow?

I'm going to get the car loaded up tonight and I intend to be there when the gates open at 8:00 in the morning.

We had a good time at the event. 86er was there, and we met up for a few minutes.

There were a lot of awesome cars. They had 5 or 6 pro mod cars there. Those were a blast to watch. There was also a Cobra Jet there with a clutchless Liberty in it. He couldn't hook up at all. He kept blowing the tires off in 1st and 2nd and still ran a 9.80-something.

I wound up coming in runner up in Fast Ford and had a new personal best of 8.26 @ 83.06 mph during time trials. Hope to see more people out there next year.
