First trip to the strip
Here are the numbers:
r/t .885 60' 2.254 330 5.960 1/8 8.931 mph 84.28 1000 11.424 1/4 13.546 mph 100.36 This was on street tires leaving on idle (I tried launching at 2000rpms only to spin through 1st and 2nd). I also didn't realize I needed to push it past the time boards, to I put it in neutral and coasted about 40 30 yard away from the actual finish. Most fun I've had in a long time. Its addicting. |

Slicks would definitely help you get that sixty foot down.

Brandon, with 106 mph, that thing should be real close to 12s. Next time you go, hollar at me, and I'll bring my slicks up. Can't hurt to give them a try....... Unless something breaks
lol

First trip to the track. The best thing to add to get the 60' down, is practice.

^^ Words of wisdom. Too many people try to modify the car before they know how to drive it.

I definitely need more time behind the wheel. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and will definitely be spending much more time at the track.

Yeah, I'll be buying drag radials this up comming month. I'm trying to decide if I want to buy some for my stock 15x6 (small as hell) rims, or buy a set of bigger rims for bigger radials. The only thing making me hesitant, is like the rims as they are pretty light.

You would have to buy a very small radial since the rim size is so narrow. If they were a 15x7-8 you could find a good radial easy. If you can come up with an extra set of rims buy some slicks instead as they work much better with a standard.

I'd be worried about the 7.5" rear end snapping with drag radials. It'll go before the motor does...
