Okay so Today I went to the high school drags here in CO! I wasnt able to race because my parents arnt in town to sign the wavier! And there was a share of mustangs, which were nice. But non of them seemed to be running great times!! The quickest mustang there was a 98 cobra with twins on it with 6 pounds of boost and it ran 12.1s. All the other mustangs seemed to be running in the 15-16 second range. Also there were probably 30 LS1s there and the quickest one was a 13.20. I dont think that these numbers seem right. Anyway do you think its the altitude that the track is at? (5800 ft) Or was everybody just a crappy driver?

Ohh and there was a viper that all it could muster up was a 13.5? WTF it was an SRT10! And then maybe 3 Z06s that were running in the 13-14 range? What is up with this?

You live in co.Thats the problem. The higher up you are from sea level the thiner the air and the harder it is for a car to run good. Now if you brought one of those same cars here to mo then most of them would run about a second faster do to the density of the air here vs there. So if i was to bring my TA up there it would be lucky to run a low 14 vs what it runs here.

Thats what I was thinking, but when I was at the Ford Day last summer there were about 100 cars that were similar to the mustangs and they were running much better times! The tempture today was 75 degrees and the temperature was around 85 during the ford day! Owel maybe my mind is just playing tricks on me! lol
