Your problem is mostly driver and tires. Just cause you have the power to run faster times doesn't mean you will.

There's nothing in your garage. What is your rear end gears? What tires are you running? How much pressure in them? What was your 60 ft? What was your speed?

With a 3.2" pulley you should be running around 13-14 psi and 430 rwhp. Matt02GT has the same pulley and exhaust. He's only making 9-10 psi though because he's at 6000 ft. I'm running a 3.7" pulley and the same exhaust. With a 1.94 60 ft. I ran an 8.27 @ 88.4 mph in the eighth. (Note: I'm still working on driver and tires.)

yep thats definitely extremely slow for whats done. you should be a full second faster. SHOULD being key word as it seems no one will get the suspension/tires needed after making the power...

anyway, assuming your car runs good and makes good power you oughta be capable of a full second faster with a good 60 foot (and good driving)

I have stock suspension, nitto 555 a/t, I thought I should be low 8s high 7s
My trap was 83mph when I ran the 8.6, what should I launch at? I had to baby it off from the start I hear that people are launching at 4500 rpm? I'd spin the tire completely off haha

I have another posting up, asking about the best suspension set up I can have done foe the money, I'm new to the car suspension I'm good with trucks but lower control arms and adjustable coils and what not is another language haha could I get a decent suspension set up for around $500-600?

Nitto 555r better than Gforce?

Yeah, there's no way you're going to hook that power on street tires. I'd skip the drag radials and go straight to slicks if I were you. Better traction and it will be easier on your drivetrain.

A blower and 8.6's? Yes that's slow. Bolt-ons, 100 shot, and slicks on my 04 rendered a 7.65 @89. And on street tires it ran 8.25@88 with a 1.98 60ft. You need practice and better tires for sure man.

You can do what i did and wait for the big UPR Christmas sale and order everything from them. I have tubular everything up front, Coil overs, strange struts n shocks, and tubular/solid everything in the back and it was right around $1,000-$1,200 for everything

The stock control arms are just stamped steel and they flex, better control arms wont flex. Poly uppers and even lowers will be fine, solid's hold up better but not needed for 90% of people on the site.

Come on guys. The key to the time, is in the title. The first time to the track is always disappointing. Practice, practice, practice. It isn't as easy as everyone thinks.

Ok so here's what i came up with between Baseline and Team Z whos better?
Baseline seems a bit cheaper as far as cost...

would the Baseline ProLaunch #1 uppers and the LCA #1s be a good set up?

if so what should i do for the front? just remove the sway bar and call it quits? or should i cut 1/2 a spring off my coils and add the CCs?

How hard is it to install the UCAs and LCAs?

Thanks!
