if you dont have a ported/pullied termi with a magnaflow exhaust, coilovers, and riding on CCW's over there, you will get grief. no way around that. there are some good guys on the forum there but some of the other ones (seemingly more than not) need a little bit of air left out of their over-inflated heads. its not only over there you find people like that though, there are cocky people with their big ego's all over the car scene.

Same^. Cobra owners are typically elitists IMO though. Although I would love an 04 termi lol. But I won't ever sell my new edge for one, why? Because these have a super original feel to them unlike the high tech 4v supercharged feel

Just to give you an idea for a first timer at the track, I ran mid 14's for 3 runs before I cracked 13's. He's going to take you, from a roll or dig. 99 cobra's aren't much to write home about, bad IRS compared to the terminators' IRS, over rated power wise, and it's expensive to mod compared to the 2v. Although, I wish I did more research before before buying my B, otherwise I would've bought a Mach 1 at least. Insurance is too much for a terminator. Just run him and video the outcome. Less talk more do.

For all of you who say cobra's are expensive to mod.....Aside from buying 4 cams instead of 2, the rest of the parts are the same cost. Bolt-ons are bolt-ons. Blowers are blowers.
2v's are tough to make fast n/a. But I always appreciate one that runs when I see it at the track.

+1 to that. I've actually got quite a few svt's under my belt. Sometimes it's my mods that put me ahead and sometimes it's a drivers race. Give him a good run and hopefully you'll get a lil more respect at the least. And you'd be surprised how much some sticky tires can change a race
