Again I think that we should get back to the second part of the OP's original question which is what he can do to get a better time. Anyone care to comment on that instead of who has beat or not beat what?

Get some better tires on the rear. Mickey Thompson ET streets. Sidestep the clutch at about 5500 and shift hard.

I also call B.S. on the I beat a LS1 comment... First off there under-rated from the factorty... My old 02 T/A bone stock put down 302RWHP down to paper filter and cut out 12.95-12.98 passes with a 2.1-2.3 60/ft.... With a SLP intake, Smooth bellow, LS6 clutch, SLP LM1 exhaust, SLP midpipe and blackwing filter then put down 336RWHP and with 315/35 Sumitomo HTR-Z still managed to cut consistant 2.2 60/ft and 12.70-12.80's... A cam swap and bolt on's alone on the later 241 headed motors would yeild 12 flat passes... Not to mention the 162mph stock top speed by fuel cut compared to 140-145 aero limited new edge.

Quick recap,
Stock 2V New edge runs 13.9-14.2 stock...
Stock Ls1 runs 12.90-13.0 stock...
